
White Chocolate Cranberry Walnut Cookies

What’s Holiday Season without cookies 🍪 and cakes 🧁. Be it gifting your friends the treat boxes or if you host house parties or get together with your family and friends, it’s always very helpful to have something baked and all ready which makes it more special being made at home. 😋

White chocolate chips cranberries cookies with walnuts or pecans are classic holiday cookies. The soft, chewy and chunky texture of this cookie white chocolate chips, tangy cranberries & walnuts in each bite makes you crave for one more. 🤤
Ingredients:
All-purpose flour - 1 cup
Baking soda - ⅓ teaspoon
Salt - ¼ teaspoon
Light brown sugar, packed - ⅓ cup
Granulated sugar - ¼ cup
Unsalted butter - ⅓ cup (melted and cooled )
Egg - 1 small
Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
Dried cranberries, chopped walnuts & white chocolate chips- 1 cup

Step by step Instructions:
In a small mixing bowl, sift and combine flour, baking soda and salt. Whisk everything together and set aside.

In another large bowl, using a hand mixer/ stand mixer, beat brown sugar, granulated sugar, and melted butter together until smooth and well combined for about 2-3 minutes.

Add the egg and vanilla extract to the bowl and mix it on high speed till the mixture is creamy for approximately 2 minutes.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl using a spatula. Gradually add the dry mixture and mix till they combine to form a dough.


Now add the white chocolate chips, dried cranberries and give a mix.


Line the baking sheet with a parchment paper or silicone sheet. Take about 2 tablespoons of dough and roll it. Arrange them 2 inches apart.

Preheat the oven to 325F and bake for 15 mins or till the top is light brown in color. Make sure to keep an eye on the oven while baking as the temperature setting may vary in oven.

Once baked, let it cool in the baking sheet for 5 minutes and transfer to a wire rack to cool down completely for 10 more minutes.

Store in a airtight container for about one week in room temperature.
You can also freeze the cookie dough balls in freezer for up to 1-2 months and bake it when needed. Make sure to thaw in refrigerator for overnight or keep it outside in room temperature for 3-4 hours before baking.
