Dutch baby pancakes are interesting mix of pancakes and crepes baked at one go in a big skillet makes it perfect for a breakfast crowd or a Sunday brunch.

Though the name is Dutch baby pancake, it has it’s origin from Germany.
A simple and quick breakfast recipe perfect for a lazy morning still making it special. Take the skillet straight from the oven to the table and enjoy it with your family.

What are all the Ingredients you need to start with?
All Purpose flour- 1/2 cup
Eggs - 3 at room temperature
Warm milk - 1/2 cup
Vanilla essence - 2 tsp
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Butter - 3 tbsp
Step by Step Instructions to proceed with:
Melt two tablespoons of butter by keeping in a microwave for few seconds.
Add all the ingredients in a blender jar and blend it until smooth with the melted butter.









Heat a 9 inch cast iron skillet or any oven safe pan on a stovetop or microwave in which you are going to bake just enough to melt the butter without burning it. Add the remaining one tablespoon of butter to the heated skillet and melt it.

Smear the butter all over the skillet and pour the blended batter mixture into it.
Preheat the oven and bake at 400F for 20-
25 minutes or till you see the edges turn brown.

Once done, dust it with powdered sugar and serve it hot with your favorite syrup or fruit spread.

Note:
Add a pinch of nutmeg and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder if you wish to add a little spice flavor to it.
