When it’s 🍎 apple season, it’s little difficult to choose from the umpteen number of recipes that pops up 🙇♀️🤔. We went to apple picking and brought home plenty of different kind of fresh apples from Gala, Golden delicious🍏, Jona gold to fuji🍎and so on. The first thing I did was to make this delicious apple butter with a combo of different varieties. It smelled so fall while making and filled 16 ounce jar fully.

This recipe is a quick recipe using pressure cooker where in traditionally it‘s prepared using slow cooking process which takes about 8 hours of slow cooking. However the taste and flavor does not vary much when compared to slow cooking. So try this simple & quick recipe and enjoy with your family.
INGREDIENTS:
Apple - 3 big
White sugar - 1/3 cup
Brown sugar - 1/3 cup
Salt - a pinch
Ground Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
Pumpkin spice - 1/4 tsp
Ground nutmeg - a pinch
Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp

Step by Step Instructions to proceed with :
Wash and peel the apples. Cut them into small pieces so that it cooks evenly.

Add the apple pieces to a pressure cooker and mix in all other ingredients to it.

Heat up the pressure cooker and stir in the mixture for about 5 minutes until the sugar melts and apples start sweating.

Once it starts sweating, close the lid, put on the weight and pressure cook for 10 whistles in medium flame. Take it off the heat and once the steam is released from the cooker, open the lid and give a mix. The apples will be well cooked and they will get mashed up easily with a mix.

Turn on the heat to let the excess water evaporates. With constant stirring, the mixture starts to thicken. Once it reaches the sticky consistency, get it out off the stove and transfer to a jar to let it cool.

You can use an immersion blender and blend if you prefer to make it extra smooth.

Store it in refrigerator for up to 10 days. It complements well with biscuits, crackers and anything that you would love to pair it with.
